Director of Iron Horse Golf Academy, Melissa Siviter
Melissa Siviter is originally from Wolverhampton, England. As a highly ranked amateur in the UK, she was recruited to play collegiate golf in the US. Now as a PGA of America Associate member she offers a wide range of golf instruction at Iron Horse Academy.
In 2014 Melissa graduated from Georgia State University. Her college years were highlighted by four individual wins, including conference championship title. A standout moment was her senior year victory at the 2013 Palmetto Intercollegiate, where she not only clinched the win but also set a college record with a score of 67 in the final round. This win fueled her ambition to pursue her lifelong dream of playing golf professionally.
After competing in LPGA Qualifying School, she was able to earn LPGA Symetra Tour status for the 2016 season. Since then, she has dedicated her life to competing at the highest level, playing in numerous tournaments around the country. In 2021 Siviter claimed her first professional win at the 22nd Connecticut Women’s Open in Old Lyme, CT.
Beyond her accomplishments, Melissa is shifting her focus to give back to the golf community. She is eager to share her passion for the game with golfers of all skill levels. After several years competing at the professional level, she is ready help golfers reach their potential and find joy in the game.
When she is not on the course Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, working out, traveling, and volunteering at FurKids Animal Rescue and Animal Shelter.
